Summary:

This is an opportunity for an energetic and motivated Shot Peen Operator to work with a world class organization committed to being the best at aerospace component manufacturing.  This Shot Peen Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of metal processing equipment.

Accountabilities

-    Set up and operate a variety of manual and automatic metal processing equipment to produce quality air craft products; in particular, shot peen and water jet equipment

-    Prepare materials for processing

-    Conduct work inspection checks and complete required documentation 

-    Operate a variety of motorized equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes etc. 

-    Maintain cleanliness of work environment 

Qualifications:

-    Minimum Grade 12 education required

-    High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, computer literate

-    Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision; including, good troubleshooting and decision making skills, ability to prioritize and multitask

-    Excellent Math skills and ability to read blueprints/specifications

-    Adaptable and able to learn quickly

-    Shot Peen experience not required but preferred
